Costa Rica President Invited to Speak at the Toronto Global Forum
Recently, President Luis Guillermo Solis of Costa Rica was invited to speak at the Toronto Global Forum. On topic at the Forum was in-depth debate regarding economic growth in light of geopolitical instability. An impressive slate of politicians, dignitaries, and business leaders were on hand for the event, including former U.S. Secretary of State, Henry Kissinger.
During his remarks at the forum, President Solis discussed the importance of foreign direct investment to Costa Rica. President Solis admitted that while Costa Rica is small, the country is home to extraordinary conditions and talent that make it ideal for foreign direct investments. The president of Costa Rica has made continued efforts since taking office to foster trade relationships between his country and Canada as well as the United States.
