Sprint Airlines recently announced it would begin offering weekly flights between Houston, Texas and Costa Rica. The four weekly flights began at the end of May and transport travelers from Houston to San Jose, Costa Rica. Those flights are serviced by Airbus A320 aircraft and provide a capacity for 178 passengers per flight.
Sprint is the latest airline to join several other carriers providing international service between Bust Intercontinental Airport in Houston to Costa Rica. Southwest Airlines also recently announced the introduction of a flight between Houston and Liberia, Costa Rica. As an increasing number of travelers from the United States have expressed interest in visiting Costa Rica and have even purchased second homes there, airlines have recognized the need to provide more regular flight service. The new flights introduced by Sprint Airlines will now make it much easier for U.S. citizens to travel to and from Costa Rica.
