Do you like monkeys? Toucans? Parrots? Almost every morning you will awaken with the sunrise and the expressive Howler Monkeys with their distinctive sounds. The howlers travel back and forth usually returning in the evening. In the afternoon the white-faced monkeys usually sneak in....quiet except for their noisy leap from tree to tree....so listen for the sound of the trees rustling and branches moving. Large Flocks of toucans have been spotted here...and once you’ve heard the beautiful lonesome song of a toucan you will be hooked to hear more. Parrots visit often and sometimes nest over night chattering away until sunset. Squawking Scarlett macaws have been spotted here too, a most eye dazzling bird, spectacular red feathers in the tropical blue sky. Not to be outdone...there are a variety of butterflies that flit by all day long but Blue Morphos can be spotted here almost daily.
